Author Publishing Workshop by Dan Slater of Amazon
Amazon's Daniel Slater tells you how to best use the available tools and programs Amazon has to help you sell more books, reach more readers, and grow your audience.

You'll get an overview of Indie publishing from an Amazon perspective, dive deeper on platforms for eBooks (Kindle Direct Publishing), print (CreateSpace) and audio (Audible Creation Exchange) — and explore the ins-and-outs of the promotional programs and benefits Amazon offers to help you succeed.

—————

Daniel Slater heads the Independent Publishing Division at Amazon. He edited for ten years at Simon & Schuster and Penguin. After working for a leading publishing IT solutions firm, Daniel joined Amazon to grow its digital text programs, and oversaw the digital content initiatives of 60 major publishers for Amazon Kindle.

Daniel's team helps authors, agents and publishers find the best solutions to put their content on Kindle and Amazon's print and audio platforms. He earned a dual BA from Cornell University and an MBA from Duke University.
