Gay City Arts Season One: UpClosePersonal presents LEZ STAND UP, which may be the first comedy show ever that is lesbian, feminist, AND funny. Featuring some of the best queer comics in the Pacific Northwest, bring a diaper, because you just might pee your pants!

LEZ STAND UP is a Portland based, lesbian comedy troupe with a rotating cast of local comics. Lez Stand Up will be joining forces with some Seattle’s best queer comics! The show is hosted by Kirsten Kuppenbender, who performs along with regulars: Jes Rega, Diane Gasperin, Brittaney Taylor, Laura Anne Whitely, Mel Heywood, Caitlin Weierhauser and Bob Kendrick, as well as local comics Elicia Sanchez, Danielle Radford, Abbey Drake and Sadie Blake, all of whom are doing their best not to eat bananas in public. 90 minutes of pure joy, featuring sketch comedy AND stand up!

On Sunday at 5pm there will be a panel discussion on How to Start Your Own Comedy Show with Seattle and Portland producers:
Danielle Gregoire (Seattle) - Comedy Womb
Elicia Sanchez (Seattle) - Wine Shots
Lena Holz (Seattle) - Side Effects
Kirsten Kuppenbender (Portland) - Lez Stand Up

Audience warning: this performance is intended for those 18 and older. Performances will include curse words and descriptions of sexual situations
