Welcome to all of you to the December 4th farmer/fermentor matchmaker dinner event in behalf of:Gastropod, Sourcerer,Epic Ales, Washington Latino Farmers Network, Institute for Washington's Future, Halcyon Northwest.
The format is to seat you with WLFN established and emerging farmers, Seattle chefs, industry reps and foodies. Conversation, idea swapping, needs and wants expressed, relationships incubated and potential deals struck are all hoped for outcomes!The idea is to have a fun,intense ,discussion and idea filled night that really gives the farmers, fermentors and the restaurateurs a great space to impact each other with positive business opportunities. The 4th estate here is the foodies that will benefit from an increased understanding about the hard work (and hearing many stories) of how that lovely food and drink came to be before their eyes
Chef Travis Kukull of Gastropod will be serving 5 courses that showcase the products of these local farmers and have pairings to match.
