You are your primary sex partner, your first lover.

Sexual Self-Pleasure is your connection to this most primary of your sexual relationships. It is the doorway to deeper erotic connection with self and other.  How we “do ourselves” can show us so much about who we are sexually, where our joy lives, how to access it and how to become better and better lovers to ourselves, others, and the earth.  Re-claiming Self-Pleasure as one of our primary practices of becoming embodied, deeply compassionate and whole is also a deep act of social revolution.  In a culture that consistently encourages us to be disconnected from our bodies and to either repress our sexuality or look outside ourselves for our clues about how to “be” sexual; conscious Self-Pleasure is the first frontier for re-claiming the grand and unique imprint of ourselves as erotic beings.

We will begin this circle with a short talk, agreements, and sharing circle to create a safe and intimate space together.  We invite participants to bring their own cozy nesting material—-pillows, blankets, toys, etc.

The self pleasure practice itself with be about an hour and will end with a harvesting/closing circle share.

Some of the points we will touch upon:
*Cultural/Popular views on Self-Pleasure
*How to develop a Self-Pleasure practice for healing
*The difference between masturbation and Self-Pleasure
*ReWilding sex and taking Self-Pleasure out of the bedroom!
*Working with shame, resistance and personal history regarding Self-Pleasure
*Using Self-Pleasure to aim loving nurturance towards yourself.
*Using Pelf-Pleasure to deepen eroticism with your partner.
*Self-Pleasure in community & the art of witnessing
*Creating more body awareness/honoring through Self-Pleasure

Join us for a spirited afternoon of taking pleasure into your own hands!

Cost at the door: $40.

About the Educators:

Victor Warring and Elena Zubulake are somatic educators, intimacy guides, and sexuality/relationship coaches. They have an interesting and unique style of work that interweaves experiential movement, improvisation, dance, music, body work, community building, conscious communication, sex activism, play, and contemplative practice into the realm of supporting all kinds of relationships. This work addresses intimate, community, and ecological relationships, and our most basic relationship with self. The Embodied Intimacy programs are fun, enlightening, and in depth.  Victor and Elena offer everything from 2 hour workshops to whole week retreats, as well as private coaching and bodywork.  In addition, the work can be tailor made to meet the needs of each community . Generally speaking, although the workshops are filled with juicy erotic content, there is no explicit sexual activity or nudity unless it is specifically requested by a group.
