This event has passed.

A research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, Dr. Brené Brown’s TED talks on shame and vulnerability have garnered over 23 million views and have changed our cultural conversation. Brené is the author of two #1 New York Times bestsellers: Daring Greatly and The Gifts of Imperfection. Brown has worked with organizations including Facebook, Microsoft, Pixar, AT&T, Costco, West Point, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and many others. Her new book, RISING STRONG, tells us what it takes to get back up after failure and teaches us how owning our stories of disappointment and heartbreak give us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle, Brené Brown writes, can be our greatest call to courage, and rising strong our clearest path to a wholehearted life.  This event includes a talk by Dr. Brené Brown and a Q&A.

Brené Brown tickets are $35 (admits one person to the event and includes one pre-signed copy of Rising Strong) or $40 (admits two people to the event and includes one pre-signed copy of Rising Strong). Books will be distributed at Town Hall Seattle starting at 6:30 pm on the night of the event. All seats are general admission.
