Raise the ROOF at this year's Builder's Dinner

Sat, Oct 10, 2015 at 2pm

This event has passed.

Smoke Farm and the Rubicon Foundation invite you to join us for the Builder's Dinner  – our annual finale to celebrate the year’s achievements and to support the farm and all of the great programming that takes place through the summer. Last year we focused on the amazing wood-fired kiln project, built and guided by Drew Nicklas. Thanks to everyone's contributions, we have already begun on the beautiful barn.  As part of the Builder's Dinner we'll be trying to get the roof on our new kiln barn before the winter weather. Matt Cary, Drew Nicklas, and the Sawhorse Revolutionaries will be hard at work, but looking for company as soon as the fun begins! Please join us as we celebrate another great year and help support future programming and building at Smoke Farm.

Joshua Hart of Monsoon will be leading the cooks again this year, with lots of help from friends and farm hands, serving up a harvest meal using foods sourced from local farmers.

Come early, wander the fields and forest, visit the Dream Archive, check out the massive salmon run of humpies this year in our run of the North Fork, talk to Sawhorse Revolutionaries and see their latest projects destined for the homeless camp at Nicklesville, and maybe we'll need a few of you to lend a hand with the barn building.
