A workshop with Roughinamorato.

This is an introductory discussion class oriented on how to get in touch with your inner masochist/sadist, whether you top, bottom, switch, or just scratch your head. Why do we like to do the things we do, and how can that be OK?

We examine the journey of making conscious choices to selectively forget socialization, and to find the place where it’s OK to be a good person and still want to do these types of things; how to figure out self identification and make it work in a social group, and ultimately to reach your own inner peace, or at least self-fulfillment, in BDSM, rope, and kink.

Cost at the Door: $25

Attendance limited to 30 people.
Questions may be directed to: education@thefspc.org

About the Educator:
Roughinamorato is a charmingly sadistic bastard who believes that kink should be fun; just because you're torturing someone doesn't mean you can't both have a good laugh between the screams. He's been teaching in the BDSM scene since 2006.

His journey of self-discovery into kink and BDSM has led him to want to share that joy and pain with others, through classes about rough body play, rope, connection, and sexual expression. He has become an internationally renowned presenter and has taught at events across the world including Dark Odyssey, Shibaricon, The Gathering, Thunder in the Mountains, Frolicon, The Floating World, Winter Wickedness, WestCoast Bound, Rope Camp, the Fetish Flea, and many more. He runs Rough Crowd, a monthly rough body play workshop in Chicago, and Rough Crowd Academy, a rough body play intensive weekend that has made appearances in cities from San Francisco to Boston, Toronto to Sydney. He also runs Rough Crowd Cigars, a monthly-ish smoker.

You can find him on FetLife at fetlife.com/roughinamorato, on Twitter @roughinamorato, or on the web at http://roughinamorato.com and http://roughcrowd.org.

Roughinamorato lives in Chicago.
