A Workshop with Seattle Shibari
When: 1:00pm-4:00 PM
Where: CSPC Main Space
Cost: $75 per duo at the door; $70 per duo advance sale

Come learn the intimate & connective art of erotic Japanese-style Rope Bondage in a fun, supportive workshop.
Rope Bondage can be powerfully intimate: it builds trust, explores surrender, and is realllllly sexy. In this three-hour class, we’ll learn safe, beautiful, and effective ways to do sexy rope play. Drawing especially on the traditional and beautiful ties found in the Japanese art of Shibari, we’ll learn basic knots, ties, and harnesses, explore safety issues, and learn exercises for building erotic intimacy with rope.

This workshop is appropriate for all skill levels. It’s a great class for beginners, but we’ll be showing tricks and tips that are useful for experienced rope handlers, too. All genders, sexual orientations, and body types are most definitely welcome!
Please bring (4) 25’-30’ and (2) 10’-12’ pieces of 6mm (¼” ) rope. Hemp or other natural fiber is recommended, but synthetic rope is fine.   Want some nice rope?  Twisted Monk Rope will be selling their high-quality hemp bondage rope before the workshop starts. We’ll have a bit of extra rope to borrow for use in the class, too.

To ensure attention to each student, this workshop is limited to 10 duos. Preregistration is strongly recommended to make sure you get a space.
