Identity is a complex thing. We use a lot of words to describe who we are to ourselves and each other. Female, Male, Gender Queer, Agender, Cis-Gender, Trans*, Kinky, Vanilla, Sexual, Asexual, Dominate, Submissive, Young, Old, Gay, Lesbian, Fluid, Bi, Pansexual, Top, Bottom, Switch, Child, Parent, Healthy, Disabled, Married, Poly, Monogamous, Non-Monogamous, and on and on. These are some of the words we use, but they are only part of the picture.

Join us for a workshop on the intricacies of identity to answer the question, who are you and who do you want to be? We’ll explore what identity is. We'll discuss how to recognize and accept our individual identities. And we’ll talk about how to choose the labels that fit best for you, or if labels are the right thing at all.

Later that same evening, there's a Mixer where you can join us in this safe and open space to hang out with people who are interested in and open to identity. This magical time is a chance for you to bring that identity you don't express often or try on something new. To help, we are offering a Salon where we'll have people on-hand to help craft a new look with make-up stations, a clothing pile, and ambassadors to answer questions and help ease you in.  It promises to be a magical night of exploration and awakening. Please join us.

If you're interested in attending both the Workshop and the Salon/Mixer, save some money and purchase the Combined Workshop Package Ticket.

This Event is a Pay It Forward (PIF) Scholarship Event:

The FSPC is dedicated to educating our community to the fullest extent it can. We know it's often a hardship to purchase a ticket to one of the events or workshops that we're offering, and to help with that we've created the "Pay It Forward Scholarship' program. This program provides an opportunity for those who can't afford the full ticket price to "pay what you can" for your ticket to events or workshops offering this program.

In order to take advantage of this Pay It Forward Scholarship, email us at education@thefspc.org with the event you wish to attend, your name, email address and how much you are able to pay.  Your name and ticket price will then be included on the "Will Call" list for that specific event. You will receive an email notifying you that we have received your request and that you have been placed on Will Call. Then, just show up on the day of the event, check in with the cashier, pay for your PIF ticket, and enjoy the workshop!

Some restrictions apply. Some workshops may have a limited number of PIF Scholarships available. Check workshop description for more details.  In addition, you must receive a confirmation email from the FSPC education department stating they have received your request and confirming you have been placed on the list in order to attend.
