Seattle Immersive Theatre presents The Place Between

This event has passed.

Seattle Immersive Theatre presents The Place Between: an after-dark spectacular inspired by the fantastical Parisian cabarets of the 1890s and turn-of-the-century spiritualism.

Hidden away in the seedy back pocket of Seattle, there exists a clandestine establishment spoken of only in hushed tones and guarded whispers where guests commune and drink with the dead. Legend has it that this timeless institution, the Place Between, can only be found by those who have received an invitation from its mysterious proprietor, an eccentric connoisseur of all things beautiful and macabre, known only to his staff and clientele as the Baron.

Tonight you and your friends are on his guest list.

You’ll join up to forty others for an intimate evening of otherworldly entertainment, including fortune-tellers, a shadowy chanteuse accompanied by a (once) live band, and a grotesque, Butoh-inspired performance that threatens to take more than just your breath away.

Drown your mortal woes and sample exotic tinctures and libations from the other side of the world at our bar, participate in the evening’s festivities, or strike a deal with the establishment for an unquantifiable price - the Baron rewards the bold, but be careful not to break any of his rules while you’re a guest in his house or you may become one of its permanent fixtures.

Run Time: 90 minutes

Dress Code: Business casual to cocktail. Hats, flip-flops, shorts and t-shirts have no place in the Baron’s parlor! But, if you’re feeling particularly daring, we encourage you to bring your best dancing shoes, grab a partner, and let the music move you.
