Bob Dylan and The Band: The Basement Tapes - Doors open at 6:30pm

Tickets: $12 advance/ $15 at the door

A revolving cast of stellar local talent pays homage to the career of one of America’s greatest icons,
Bob Dylan, in celebration of his 75th birthday.

A legend barely worth re-telling for any Dylan fan, the Basement tapes were four members of The Band (minus Levon Helm) and Dylan basically hanging out and jamming, as Dylan recuperated from his legendary 1966 motorcycle accident, while Garth Hudson got it all down on his reel to reel tape deck. Part jam session, part song writing session, part hoe-down and part Dadaist “happening”, the Basement tapes created some of the strangest and most varied songs in the yet to be labeled genre of “Americana”.

Featuring: Sean Bates, Music Box, Reggie Garrett, Alex Guy, Orville Johnson, Ben Hunter and Joe Seamons, Arnie Adler, Sean Devine, Charmaine as Squirrel Butter and Andy Coe.

House band includes:
Darren Loucas-Guitar and Vocals
Wayne Horvitz-Piano/Organ
Andy Stoller-Bass and Vocals
Eric Eagle-Drums and Vocals
