DASWASUP GIG presents:

CHILDREN OF POP (Houston, TX)
- “What Does 69 Mean?” is the title of the new children of pop album. It was written / recorded / produced / engineered / mixed / mastered in Houston @ children of pop’s home, in what would be the area where people eat kind of near the kitchen aka the dining room but not as fancy as say a “Dining Room”. “What Does 69 Mean?” questions what it means to be in love or to have really great sex. or both? Or maybe getting them confused. I don’t know anymore. It hurts to be this engaged all the time. The lead single, “Manic”, was written for Drake after children of pop found out he was using ghostwriters. But children of pop was too into the song so he kept it for himself. Some of the other songs were written for Solange, Beyonce, Madonna, blah blah blah … but they were too rad and he kept all of them for himself. Aiden Kennedy of Wrestlers is featured on the album. Aiden performed synth bass on the final track, “Don’t Change For Love”, a quasi piano ballad / faux house tune. So there is all of that + littered w shades of the Acid House.
