Rope for the bedroom and beyond.

Sex is what first drew many of us to bondage, and combining sex with bondage is one of our favorite things. All too often, though, erotic bondage ends up being awkward and frustrating. This class will teach you bondage that immobilizes your partner while leaving them exposed and accessible.

We’ll begin with a set of ties and techniques for immobilizing every part of your partner’s body. These building blocks can be combined in a wide variety of ways to hold your partner still in whatever position works best for your favorite mischief.

Different types of mischief call for different positions, so we’ll take an in depth look at four of our favorite sex positions, each of which is adaptable to a wide range of activities and body types. No matter what your genders or what kind of sex you and your partner prefer, you’ll learn practical skills that will improve your sex life as well as making you a better and more effective rigger.

Ties and knots covered in this class include:

    -Futomomo. The futomomo (aka the frog tie) is our favorite way to immobilize the legs.
    -Chicken wing arms. Similar to the futo, but for arms.
    -The Somerville Bowline. This is a more advanced version of the basic column tie that we teach in our introductory classes. It takes more skill to tie, but works better and is faster to tie.
    -Chest harness. Because every bottom is better with a handle.
    -Extending rope. Being able to quickly add rope on the fly is tremendously useful.

We’ll also cover several positions that are particularly useful for sex:

    -Wrists to ankles. This tremendously versatile and exposed position is infinitely better than the spread eagle.
    -Crab. An excellent general-purpose sex tie.
    -Leg spreader. Super simple and super effective.
    -Face down immobilizer. Need to immobilize your partner, but don’t have anything to tie them to? Not a problem.

This is one of three intermediate level classes in the Tying With Purpose series—the other two are Bondage For Power (tying for dominance and pain play) and Bondage For Control (strict and immobilizing bondage). The three classes may be taken in any order and together provide a comprehensive bondage education.
Important details

    All sexes, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, relationship orientations welcome and celebrated.
    This is an intermediate level class. You should be familiar with basic kink concepts and should be able to tie a single column tie.
    You can attend on your own, but it’s more fun if you bring a partner.
    You will need to bring your own rope to this class. We recommend at least two 10-15' lengths and at least one 20-30' length.
