Indie folk artist (and Columbia City neighbor) Kathleen Tracy’s songs cut to the heart of what it means to be alive. Her work is literate and emotionally revealing, and her soulful performances offer humor, courage and tenderness. Kathleen's Seattle musical roots go back to the 80’s as a solo artist and with the folk/rock trio Modern Fabrics (Cyd Smith and Linda Severt). Lately she’s one third of the ukulele trio The Blue Janes (Arni Adler and jean mann) and founder and director of the Columbia City Community Chorus. At this CD release party, Kathleen will be joined by The Blue Janes and other special musical guests including Bill Corral, (guitar); Larry Jones, (drums); Brian Kent, (sax); Steve Kim (keys and bass), Linda Severt (percussion), and more.
Please note: Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room. For sold out shows standing room may be the only available space. Please come early to ensure you get a table. Reservations can be made for those who are coming for dinner as well as the show. The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm.
