What's more Seattle than supporting your local businesses? Supporting your local musicians, that's what. So be a responsible Northwestern-er and get yourself down to Victory Studios for the taping of our next episode of Band in Seattle with Cataldo and Fine Prince on March 9th. Front doors open at 6PM at Victory Studios, 2247 15th Avenue West (near the Interbay Golf Center).

Cataldo:

In previous years, it might have been easy, though inaccurate, to lump Cataldo creator and frontman Eric Anderson into the broad category of "Seattle musicians with guitars who play music about feelings." But with his 2014 release "Gilded Oldies" and his upcoming album "Keepers," Cataldo has expanded their sound to include horns, sweeping harmonies, and gorgeous walls of sound.

Fine Prince:

“'Jamais Vu' is a perfectly Seattle song. It has parts Chris Ballew vocal tone, part Kithkin group flair, part Hoot Hoots romping energy. It’s a Jack and Jill fell down the hill trippy tune infused with cool streams, singing birds and full choir."

-Jake Uitti, The Monarch Review

"['Steady Climb'] has an awesome aqueous guitar sound that instantly puts you in a summery state of mind. The harmonies and hook are totally winning, and little touches like the funky, phased-out bassline, totally badass guitar solo, “doo doo doos,” and occasional percussive booms really complete the package. Perfect for porch hangs."
