CANCELLED - Seattle's Strangest Collections: The 'From Beer to Eternity' Edition

Thu, May 18, 2017 at 6pm

This event has been cancelled.

Join Party for the People as we foray into the world of Seattle’s strangest collections.

On this outing we visit The Pike Brewing Company's Microbrew Museum and explore the 9000 years of beer history with founder and owner, Charles Finkle. During this intimate hour-long tour you will hear the stories behind Seattle’s largest collection of hoppy history and how one man amassed a collection of hundreds of unique, ale-related artifacts. Afterwards our group will be treated to a tasting of some of Pike’s famous brews.

Please note the following:

  • Be sure to arrive 15 minutes before the tour is scheduled to begin for check-in

  • To participate in the tasting you must be 21 or older with proper ID.

  • While children are welcome with a paying adult (21+), this is not an all-ages event. Limited space for minors is reserved for those without access to childcare.

  • Using public transportation is highly encouraged, although both street parking and pay lots are available. Please read signs carefully and park at your own discretion.

10% of the profit from this event will be donated to the Pike Place Market Foundation. The foundation provides resources such as low-income housing, day care, senior care, medical services and food access to the people who work and live in and around the Market.
