Join guest curator Martha Kingsbury and exhibiting artist Patti Warashina for a conversation about west coast experimental ceramics and the post-war departure from utility. They will discuss how ceramics as a medium came into the studio art scene, the influences of Voulkos and Funk art, and the ways in which the Henry Art Gallery, with the help of LaMar Harrington, supported the Northwest clay scene with competitive exhibitions.
