In cities struck by earthquakes, hurricanes, and terror, even under water and massive debris, always withstanding remain the remarkable signs of humanity.  People making human chains to save or help others, people prioritizing others needs before their own, people finding small ways to support their community:  This is the collective benevolence of which we are capable.

In partnership, on October 12th, Tom Douglas Restaurants, Renee Erickson of Sea Creatures Restaurants, Edouardo Jordan of Salare & JuneBaby, Thierry Rautureau of Loulay Kitchen & Bar and LUC, Jason Stratton, Racha and Wassef Haroun of Mbar, Mamnoon, Anar, Josh Henderson of huxley wallace collective, Kari Brunson of JuiceBox and Frankie & Jo's, Canvas Event Space, Pedersen's Event Rentals, Live Oak Audio Visual, Rainier Beer, Montana bar, Fleurish, Heavy Restaurant Group, Copal, Rachel's Ginger Beer, àMaurice Cellars, Gilbert Cellars, Westland Distillery, JarrBar, Damn the Weather, Sun Liquor, Barrio, Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, Sleight of Hand Cellars, Torii Mor Woodinville, Belathee Photography, Megan Swann Photography and hopefully many more to come are working together to create an event to raise money for the recent catastrophic events around the world. Everything our industry does begins with the basis of providing care. And currently, these other communities need our care.

All proceeds will benefit Direct Relief.  Direct Relief improves the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergency situations by mobilizing and providing essential medical resources needed for their care.

Following the devastating earthquake in Oaxaca, President Enrique Pena Nieto said, “The power of this earthquake was devastating, but we are certain that the power of unity, the power of solidarity, and the power of shared responsibility will be greater.”

We couldn’t agree more.  It’s time to be unified, work in solidarity, and share responsibility.
