As a labor organizer, the impact of the late Tyree Scott’s efforts continue to resonate in today’s labor movement. Hear his story and learn about the collaboration between Black construction workers, Asian and Pacific Islander salmon cannery workers unifying with Latino farmworkers, Immigrants and Women in Washington State under the banner, “No Separate Peace,” and using the organizing principles of the Black Panther Party of Serving the People, bringing about Class Action Lawsuits, and Education on the effects of Capitalism in working people’s lives.
