Rare Air ft. Felicia Atkinson

RARE AIR has been on hiatus for 2018, but we couldn’t pass up the chance to host Félicia Atkinson. Parisian-born artist Félicia Atkinson’s multifaceted work embraces improvisation, science-fiction, composition, chance, noise, abstraction and poetry. Her sound palette draws from the history of electronics, musique concrète, field recordings and improvisation through the use of synthesizers, guitar and piano, abstract distortions, text-sound and infra bass.

Live sets from Jungle Gym’s DRAVIER and Elevator’s PRIUS. Rare Air residents DJ EXPLORATEUR and I WANT YOU will transform Timbre Room with dreamy psychedelic sights and sounds.

As always, attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, mats and pillows to get comfy on the floor.
