322 is a band from Tacoma, Washington, the beating heart of the Pacific Northwest. Founding members BrandonLee Cierley (Saxophone) and Elliott Turner (Guitar), together with Josh Bozich (Bass), Joel Bozich (Drums) and Joshua VanCleave (Keyboard) collaborate to deliver a unique, innovative perspective to the jazz music scene and beyond. Our sound fuses a unique blend of Hip-Hop, Classic Jazz, R&B, Soul, and even elements of Progressive Rock to give our take on the new jazz movement. Many thanks to Dr. David Deacon Joyner, Tracy Knoop and Kareem Kandi for being great mentors that we can look up to. We've had the great opportunity to bring good vibes to some of the finest jazz venues and events the Pacific Northwest has to offer: The Royal Room, The Triple Door Musicquarium Lounge, First Annual Tacoma Jazz Walk, KNKX Live Studio Session, B Sharp Coffee House, and many other local establishments. In September of 2017, we got the opportunity to release our very first professional album entitled "Emergence" that is comprised of all original compositions from each member of the group. Our music aims to inspire others to follow their dreams and have a more open-mind of expression with no limits that can be enjoyed by a wide range of audiences.

Velocity draws from a variety of musical styles with the core being funk, latin, and jazz. They combine hard hitting grooves and hook melodies with open improvisation.

Reservations can be made for those who are coming for dinner as well as the show. The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm.
