Shape-shifting instrumental quintet Moraine has built a reputation as one of the most electrifying and original instrumental rock bands anywhere, winning over listeners around the globe with its unique amalgam of art rock, forward-thinking jazz, Asian-inspired music, and more. Balancing inventive composition with exploratory improvisation, Moraine has delighted audiences ranging from progressive rock partisans to jazz aficionados to metalheads. The Seattle-based unit has performed in major U.S. cities on both coasts, in Mexico, Siberia, and Tuva, and at notable festivals including NEARfest and Baja Prog. Alicia DeJoie (violin), Jim DeJoie (woodwinds), Kevin Millard (bass), Brian Oppel (drums), and Dennis Rea (guitar).

Epos Nemo Latrocinium is an improvised ensemble brought together by veteran Seattle electronic and experimental musician noisepoetnobody (Casey Chittenden Jones). Focusing on both live performance and recording, the group celebrates the release of their newest CD, Iter Itineris III. This latest work features guest master percussionist Tatsuya Nakatani along with Jones (stringboard, electronics) and pianist/vocalist Joy Von Spain, of Eye Of Nix. The album was recorded by Doug Haire at the Jack Straw Cultural Center.
