Betsy Olson Band opens the show.

During the alternative rock explosion, several female singer/songwriters rose to prominence, but few have proved as distinctive or as widely praised as Polly Jean Harvey. Over the course of her career, Harvey established herself as one of the most individual and influential songwriters of her era, exploring themes of sex, love, and religion with unnerving honesty, dark humor, and a twisted theatricality. Kathy Moore- For nearly two decades, Seattle guitarist Kathy Moore has been a go-to guitarist with her talents ranging from rock to funk to jazz and country. She is currently a member of the bands The Guessing Game and Satchel and has also performed with the likes of Thaddeus Turner (Maktub), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam, Mad Season, Flight To Mars), the band Brad, Kim Virant, Everclear, Mark Siano’s Soft Rock Kid and the all-girl Black Sabbath tribute band Bloody Sabbath.

Sera Cahoone- Sera Cahoone is a long way from home. Growing up the daughter of a dynamite salesman in the Colorado foothills, she got her start on the drums at 11. A year later, her skills had become so promising, her mom started taking her to dive bars to sit in with the scruffy old bluesmen. By the time she even picked up a guitar, she had been so shaped by these things – the dynamite, the blues, the woods and the hills – it’s no surprise she went on to earn a reputation as one of the strongest songwriters in Seattle’s ever-vibrant Americana scene.

Alex Guy- Violinist, Violist, Composer and Songwriter Alex Guy is the leader and composer for Led To Sea, a magnetic chamber-pop ensemble that fuses classical, pop and experimental music. Her live show has captivated audiences all over the U.S. and Europe, and draws comparisons to St. Vincent and Andrew Byrd. As a musician Alex has performed and collaborated with a virtual whose who of bandleaders, composers, improvisers and jazz musicians in the Pacific NW and beyond. Notable collaborators include Jherek Bischoff, Laura Veirs, Sera Cahoone, Ahamefule Olou, Tucker Martine, Wayne Horvitz, The Seattle Rock Orchestra, Mirah, Amanda Palmer, Xiu Xiu, Paranthetical Girls and many more.

Betsy Olson Band- Betsy Olson is a Seattle based blues/rock musician pulling influences from Led Zeppelin, Bonnie Raitt and Jimi Hendrix. She plays in a 4-piece band with Sera Cahoone on drums, Rebecca Young on bass and Moe Provencher on rhythm guitar and harmonica.
