MOUNT EERIE, BOUQUET, MARISA ANDERSON

Primarily the project of Anacortes, Washington-based musician Phil Elverum, Mount Eerie is a staple on the Northwestern indie music scene. Formerly called The Microphones, Elverum has led a rotating cast of players under his moniker of choice since 1998. Officially donning the Mount Eerie pseudonym in 2003, after Washington's Mount Erie, Elverum and friends seamlessly blend haunting folk with noise-based indie rock and build up crescendos that border on metalcore cacophonies. With a cult following and a fairly prolific catalog of releases, Mount Eerie has established itself as a well-respected and highly influential act.
