On December 7th, the Regional Arts & Culture Council invites you to help us honor Mayor Sam Adams for the vision, leadership and support he continues to provide for culture and innovation in Portland. With help from Portland’s talented arts community, we will be sending him out with all of the creative flair and vision that he has given this fair city, and raising money for two programs that he championed during his time in office: The Right Brain Initiative and Work for Art. Book a cab, lace up your toe shoes and update your Instragram photo app, because you won’t want to miss this one!
The Patron Party starts at 6:30 PM, and tickets are $175.
The Dance Party starts at 9:00 PM, and tickets are $25.

Patron tickets are $175. The celebration begins on the lower level of the historic YU Building at 6:30 pm. Here, 400 VIP guests will gather for deliciously artful bites, a special HOPWORKS URBAN BREW, and cocktails from BULL RUN DISTILLERY. Enjoy the music of GRUPO CONDOR while rubbing shoulders with dancers, painters and musicians. At 8:00 pm, our patron guests will move upstairs to our version of Theater In The Clouds, complete with theatre-style seating and a cabaret tribute that our mayor Sam Adams will NEVER forget (as much as he may want to)! It's an interactive farewell celebration, featuring STORM LARGE, FRED ARMISEN, BODYVOX, JULIANE JOHNSON, THE CIRCUS PROJECT, PHAME ACADEMY, SCOTT POOLE, THE PORTLAND FLASH CHOIR and many more. Complimentary dessert after the show, courtesy of CUPCAKE JONES. Patron tickets are $175 each. All proceeds benefit The Right Brain Initiative and Work for Art.
Dance party tickets are $25. At 9:00 pm we’ll open the doors on the main level for several hundred others to join the celebration with a dance party, live art installations and hi-jinx. Yes, we said hi-jinx and it will be zany, too. Both floors will be open for unique entertainment, interactive art experiences, and a few dances with the Mayor, including salsa, electric slide, hip hop and Bollywood. Featuring DJ PRASHANT, DJ EVAN ALEXANDER, POISON WATERS, and surprise performances throughout the evening. Come one, come all — dance party tickets are only $25 each, and include one drink ticket plus a full cash bar (and the Burgerville Nomad!) available all night long.
GOOD NIGHT! At midnight, all guests will enjoy complimentary breakfast on the upper floor as the party winds down. Feet will be sore, stomachs will be full and cabs will be plentiful.
