Levi Gillis and Bare Capital
Born out of a desire to create music that is uniquely spontaneous and varied, Bare Capitol weaves together a collection of succinct songs, and energetic and exciting improvisation. The group brings together some of the most committed improvisers in Seattle and allows for almost anything to happen. Drawing on influences ranging from the raw explorations of Albert Ayler to the lonesome calls of bluesman Skip James, Bare Capitol creates a highly entertaining aural landscape that's not to be missed!

Cameron Vohr & Marcelo Perez
New York-based saxophonist and Seattle-native Cameron Vohr began playing saxophone at age ten. Soon after discovering the music of Count Basie, Charlie Parker, Clifford Brown and John Coltrane, Cameron committed himself to the lifelong pursuit of artistry through music. With the help of local heroes Mark Taylor and Jay Thomas, Cameron has emerged from the ranks of the nationally recognized jazz ensembles at Washington Middle School and Garfield High School as an accomplished improviser and bright young musical voice. This past year the national YoungArts foundation distinguished him from a pool of over ten thousand applicants as one of “the most promising young artists in America today.” Other recent accolades include playing lead tenor saxophone for the Jazz Band of America and the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, with whom he embarked on a two-week tour of Japan and performed on the main stage at the famed Monterey Jazz Festival.
Fellow YoungArts alumnus Marcelo Perez joins on drums for a night of fiery improvisation and lush musical sentiments.
