Cosmozoa in an electroacoustic ensemble that makes cinematic dreamsongs with chamber strings, harmony vocals, synths, and found object percussion. Created by Seattle composer Michael Hamm, Cosmozoa seeks new myths for our modern age — stories about the sacred within science, the eternal within the ephemeral, the kinship between all living things.
Striking Music blends percussion, synth, and lighting effects, for an excitingly intricate live music experience. SM is percussionists Rebekah Ko, Storm Benjamin & Paulina Michels, keyboardist Ben Marx, lighting designer Kevin Blanquies.
Please note: Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room. For sold out shows standing room may be the only available space. Please come early to ensure you get a table. Reservations can be made for those who are coming for dinner as well as the show. The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm.
