This class is for students who already understand basic upline techniques and want to use uplines more creatively. In a tie-along format, students will learn how to use uplines for microtransitions mid-flight, including securing uplines to each other to create constriction and expansion, how to use upline tails to provide additional support and positioning to limbs, and how to use uplines for aesthetic joy. Content will include bottoming skills for transitions and suspension sustainability. The first part of the class will focus on solidifying fundamental concepts such as lock-offs, hangers, and double bights to ensure all students have the knowledge to proceed.

About the Educators:

Roxanne (she/her) has been tying since 2016 and topping suspension since 2018. She ties as a creative and social outlet and teaches because she adores showing people what they can do with rope. Among other rope pursuits, she co-hosted the Witchy Rope Enthusiasts Group in Seattle for four years and is an advocate for empowering tops of marginalized identities. Despite being a safety nerd, she loves exploring with her friends and her rope kit, and she’s usually down to try that wild idea. Find her on Fet @Blaming_Lilith and IG @BlamingLilith.

Holly has been active in the kink community and doing rope since 2016. After three years as a bottom, she explored self-tying and then expanded her rope skill set in 2022 to tying others. Her work centers on education, creating inclusive spaces for growth and connection, and has a passion for authority transfer dynamics.  She enjoys rope related artistic projects, physical and emotional challenges in rope, and the depth that rope can bring to a relationship when used as a conduit for energy exchange.

Outside of teaching, Holly supports the community through various volunteer work such as marketing for Pan Eros events, previously assisted SEAF as the showcase stage manager and performed on their bondage & aerial stage, acted as a moderator for Bound to be Knotty rope group at Kitsap Aces, served as the marketing coordinator for Stone Soup, performed at the BSPC, and co-chaired On the Fray.  She is leather and queer, having earned her vest in recognition of her service to the community.

This event is presented by the Pan Eros Foundation. Please go to Pan-Eros.org for more information.
