Rat City Rollergirls Pinkies Skate Camp

We are excited to be hosting our Pinkies learn-to-skate camp again in September! This time, we'll be offering it at two levels: Pinkies 101 and Pinkies 102!

Join Pinkies 101 for four weeks of intensive training for complete newbies. If you've never skated, or the last time you put on skates was when you were in elementary school, this is the program for you. Learn how to balance on eight wheels, maintain skating form, and keep yourself strong off-skates.

After that, graduate to Pinkies 102 for more skate skills! If you have some skating background, 102 may be right for you. Learn about stops, making contact, and the rules of derby. Skaters completing 102 are also invited to assess into our Fundamentals program to continue their derby journey!

All we ask is that you bring your own gear (skates, knee/elbow pads, wrist guards, mouthguard and helmet). All skaters 18+ are welcome. Please be prepared to sign a waiver and bring proof of primary insurance on your first day of class. If you have any questions, please contact freshmeat@ratcityrollergirls.com.

Pinkies 101 is $50 for four sessions, and Pinkies 102 is $150 for eight sessions. All Pinkies practices are at 8-10am on Saturdays.
