"Painting the Town Red" revisits the classic era of Billie Holidays recordings for Columbia records, featuring a sextet in the style of the “little big bands” that accompanied Lady Day on these iconic recordings.
Simon Nabatov opens, performing the music of Herbie Nichols (solo piano).
