Gay City Arts Season One: UpClosePersonal presents "It Will Kill Them!". Storyteller Jennifer Jasper takes you on a hilarious journey that explores the trials and tribulations of coming to terms with her sexual identity on HER terms.

Everyone has tried to put Jennifer Jasper in a box. Is she a queer artist? Lesbian? Bisexual? Mainstream? In her signature comedic storytelling style, “It Will Kill Them!” explores the struggle she’s had with the need people have to label her.

She has been performing improvisational stories of her life for decades. Recently, she had critical success with her one-woman show, “I Can Hear You…but I’m Not Listening.”
David Schmader, The Stranger, says “In an age of boundary-pushing shock comedy, [Jennifer] Jasper traffics in old-school humanistic comedy, and watching the show, I kept thinking of the classic comedy of Carol Burnett, given a 21st-century lesbian twist.”

Through Gay City Arts, Gay City collaborates with local LGBT artists to galvanize an audience for queer arts, foster the development of LGBT artists, and facilitate artistic excellence that is accessible. Gay City Arts is committed to presenting challenging, dynamic and excellent queer art across the full range of artistic disciplines.
