Rope and Rope Handling

Tying a partner involves more than learning how to tie a certain pattern.
If you want to get the most out of your rope play, careful and intentional rope handling while tying and especially while untying is key.
We will discuss what makes rope handling so important and learn and understand some basic techniques of aware rope play while using long ropes.

Leg Bondage and Energy Patterns

This workshop shows you several different shibari styles to tie a leg.
After mastering the ties, we will deepen the understanding on how to use the same tie to express and induce different energy patterns by varying the way we tie.

Takatekote and What To Do With It
Date: Sunday, May 18, 2014 - 12:00pm - 3:00pm
The 2-rope Takatekote, Ryu-Style, will be taught as a basic tie for any floor- and suspension work.
The focus will be on the ryu-style technique and how to combine it with other techniques taught in this class for various positions like ebi-shibari, gyaku-ebi, and agura.
