Montreal’s Elephant Stone was formed in 2009 by sitarist/bassist Rishi Dhir. As one of the most highly sought out sitar players in the international psych scene, he has recorded, performed and toured with Beck, the Black Angels, Brian Jonestown Massacre, the Horrors, and many more.

Elephant Stone has released two LPs, an EP, and has toured throughout North American and Europe. They have spear-headed the Hindie-Rock movement with their deft ability of weaving together rock’n’roll, Hindustani classical, and catchy-as-all-hell pop.

2014 will see the release of Elephant Stone’s third full-length, The Three Poisons. Their strongest/grooviest release to date, Elephant Stone will support the release by touring the world and spreading their psychedelified Hindie- Rock mantra.

Since forming in late 2002, Black Nite Crash have been creating reverb-drenched fuzz pop tunes combining the best elements of the psychedelic Sixties with Post-Punk angst and the sonically dense noise of the Shoegaze movement into an original concoction that feels simultaneously familiar and new.

With 23 members across 24 different lineups, two full length albums, a split 12” EP, a split 7” single and many compilation and soundtrack appearances over their 13 year existence behind them, Black Nite Crash looks ahead to the imminent release of their third album, Quiet Is The Enemy, scheduled for early 2016. 

In the meantime, they continue to play select shows featuring material old and new, original and appropriated, occasionally spinning on the precipice of chaos and always Crashing.

Melody, Noise and the Beat. Yeah.
