Inspired by the deranged showmanship of high-energy New Wave bands like The Talking Heads, The B-52s and Devo, this seven-person Seattle-based group takes on-stage theatrics to another galaxy. Ornate, handcrafted headpieces, full-body eyeball suits and gratuitous applications of black lipstick are just a few key elements in the Downey Brothers’s expansive wardrobe.

Future Shock
Future Shock is a Seattle based Afro New Wave duo comprised of RayGun and The Doctor. Inspired by the likes of David Bowie, Parliament-Funkadelic, Duran Duran, and Kraftwerk, the two have channeled a unique and uncanny 80’s sound. They were exiled from this planet years ago so they remain anonymous during performances and interviews, hiding their true identity behind masks, in order to let their music be the focus of attention.
