Gay City Arts presents Mosaic: Alotta Sh*t Has Happened-LGBTQ Elders Speak
Free Performances

Aug 19-20 at 7pm / Aug 21 at 2pm and 7pm

Too often, as dictated by an ageist culture, people lose visibility and voice as we age. However, aging also gifts us with individual experience and collective histories that can be tremendous contributions to community. Mosaic seeks to reveal some of the brilliances acquired by age among LGBTQ artists with Alotta Sh*t Has Happened: LGBTQ Elders Speak, free performances featuring some of Seattle’s most amazing LGBTQ artists over 40, including: Greg Brisendine, Laurie Cox, Miss Violet Deville, Chad Goller-Sojourner, Tara Hardy, Jourdan Imani Keith, Mary Anne Moorman, Lector Morales, and Fred Swanson. More info: gaycity.org/mosaic

Doors open 1 hour before the performance. Any unused tickets will be given away 10 minutes before the performance starts.

Accessibility Info: The Calamus Auditorium at Gay City is ADA accessible, has two single-stall all-gender restrooms, and is minimally scented. There will be scent free soap in the restrooms. More info: gaycity.org/access

About Mosaic: Mosaic programming exists to create unique opportunities for LGBTQ and allied individuals to pursue community through arts, conversation, and workshops. Many organizations seek social justice and Mosaic goes one step further in pursuing authentic community through the practice of exchange of thoughts, ideas, and more.

This project is funded in part by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award from Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
