The Stranger is teaming up with local arts mensch Shunpike to host Satellite—an incredible night of music, food, art, creative performances, and intelligent conversation at Seattle’s most focal and spaceship-like venue: the Space Needle. With music by Emerald City Soul Club and J-Justice, food by Space Needle chefs, an open bar featuring top-notch liquor and beer and local wines, and dozens of other creative touches, this is an occasion to be remembered. Dress up fancy and bring a date to this seriously fun event on Saturday, March 31, 8 pm–midnight.

This is a rare opportunity to throw down at the top of the city, only possible because the Space Needle is opening its doors to the arts and entertainment community. The food will be delicious, the alcohol will flow, and Shunpike artists will join past Genius Award winners to delight and inform the best and brightest in Seattle.

Limited VIP tickets include an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, entrance to the VIP lounge, access to VIP performances by Genius Award winners Lynn Shelton, Lead Pencil Studio, Cody Rivers Show, Lesley Hazleton, and Heather McHugh, and an exclusive gift bag including gifts from Caffe Vita, Theo Chocolate, KEXP, Rowboat Press, Hendrick's Gin, and The Greenwood Space Travel Supply Store.

General Admission tickets include 2 drink tickets, hors d'oeuvres, access to the O-Deck where Emerald City Soul Club and J-Justice will be spinning, and performances by Shunpike artists.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Stranger Genius Awards—providing unsolicited grants to outstanding local artists, and Shunpike, whose leadership training and fiscal sponsorship serve hundreds of Seattle arts organizations. Satellite helps ensure the growth and recognition of creative risk takers and game changers in our community.
