Every Song Tells a Story

Saturday, February 17, Naked City Brewery & Taphouse presents Grammy nominee Peter Case in the seventeenth installment of the Naked Sessions acoustic concert series. Each Naked Sessions features a great band or artist braiding songs together with stories about the music. To celebrate Naked City's 10th anniversary, a series of 10 Naked Sessions concerts will help raise funds for charities chosen by the artists. Peter chose Facing Homelessness. A portion of ticket sales will go directly to the charity along with any audience donations.

Join us for an unforgettable evening when Peter Case take the stage to perform two stripped down, essential sets of folk and blues. Doors at 7pm, show starts at 8pm. Seated general admission; full dinner menu available.

Naked City Brewery is a passionate supporter of arts and culture. Oftentimes its hand-crafted beers are inspired by a song, film, or person. Every beer tells a story, and each one ferments in its own time.

The Screening Room is Naked City's dining movie theater, featuring a New American comfort food menu with vegetarian and gluten-free options alongside award-winning craft beers, wines, and ciders.

Peter Case, founding member of the Nerves and leader of the Plimsouls, and the first
troubadour of the post-punk era, returns with his first album of new songs since 2010’s
Wig! The Nerves’ 1976 “Hanging on the Telephone” EP, its title song covered by Blondie,
remains a classic and has earned the band a strong following of young fans around the
world. The Plimsouls song “A Million Miles Away” is a power pop classic. Case’s debut solo
album, produced by T-Bone Burnett, earned him his first Grammy nomination and
spearheaded a songwriter movement, now dubbed Americana. Twelve solo albums and two
more Grammy nominations followed, including one for his 2007 album Let Us Now Praise
Sleepy John.

All along, Case has continued to tour consistently. HWY 62 collects tales from his journey,
and brilliantly encompasses every facet of his diverse and critically acclaimed career. Much
like a travelogue, HWY 62 includes pieces of Americana, blues, pop, and folk — all anchored
by Case’s knack for creating the perfect hook.
