Charles Street Messengers bring their special blend of jazz, soul, funk, and world rhythms to the Pacific Northwest. Merging influences from their diverse musical backgrounds, CSM creates music that appeals to the head, heart, and hips– danceable grooves with infectious melodies, jazzy horns, and depth and complexity that appeals to the most discerning listeners. They have performed at festivals, clubs, and dance events from Vancouver B.C. to Portland, OR— including Northwest Folklife Festival, Woodinville Wine and Ride, and Nectar Lounge. They have also made waves by mashing up their classic grooves on the Contra Dancing scene.
In addition to performing all over the US, Europe, and Asia, Charles Street Messengers can be heard locally with groups that include Eldridge Gravy and the Court Supreme, Freudian Slurp, Ancient Robotz, Champagne Honeybee, Spencer Glenn Band, and the list goes on. CSM’s first single, “Tailored Suit,” is available for download; follow-up singles coming soon, with a full debut album release party June 27th, 2018.

Reservations can be made for those who are coming for dinner as well as the show. The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm.
