What better way to explore melody than with song? Simple Measures musicians will be joined by Connecticut based soprano Jennifer Foster for an evening of string quartets with and without voice. Works to include lyrical American composer Arthur Shepherd's Triptych for string quartet and soprano and Villa-Lobos' songs for soprano and violin. The final work on the program is Schubert's epic "Death and the Maiden" string quartet.
