Seattle Greendrinks Turns 10!
Online ticket sales have ended, but tickets may still be available at the door for $20.
We'll have headsets for silent disco dancing, a Thrift Shop costume contest judged by the mayor and Goodwill, circus performers, a photobooth, and of course, more food and DRINKS than 15 bucks can get you in real life!
Seattle Greendrinks is a non-profit celebrating ten years of connecting the sustainability community in Seattle, which can only mean we must throw ourselves a very special and very huge party. With a thousand of our friends. In a warehouse.
The theme is Thrift Shop! So come dressed to impress. Goodwill is hosting the costume contest and will be accepting donated items! See below for deets on free transportation and more.
Join Seattle Greendrinks on Friday, June 14th, to celebrate our tenth birthday! We are going all out. Some highlights~
THRIFT SHOP COSTUME CONTEST: Goodwill will judge the best-dressed. They'll also have a donation station trading donated items for raffle tickets! Bring 20+ items, and get a chance to win 200 Car2go driving minutes.
SILENT DISCO DANCE PARTY: We're bringing in 300 headsets for a silent dance party. Tip of the hat to our friends Party Headphones.
FOOD ART: James Beard award-winning chef and food artist Tiberio Simone will create his unique art of food and the body on live models throughout the evening, and, along with photographer Matt Freedman, will be selling copies of their book "La Figa: Visions of Food and Form".
Plus, one of the cooler photobooths ever, surprise guests and performances, a raffle for neato prizes, food trucks, and a screenprinting-while-you-wait station (bring a blank T!). Entrance is $15 advance/$20 at the door, with all SORTS of free goodies inside, though, as is Greendrinks tradition, you should still bring your own cup.
