Matt Flinner Trio: Mandolinist Matt Flinner, guitarist Ross Martin and bassist Eric Thorin cover a wide variety of musical styles—all with the common ground of American roots music. Bluegrass, jazz and old-time music are all present here in their ways, along with a dose of classical chamber music composition and arrangement, as the members all draw from their wide array of musical loves, experiences and influences. These influences boil down into the trio’s own organic sound of New Acoustic / Modern String Band music. Whatever label you put on it, it is guaranteed to be fresh and original, and definitely something you’ve never quite heard before.

Danny Barnes is a banjo and guitar player, singer, and composer whose music is influenced by country, jazz, blues, punk and more. He has been described as a "banjo virtuoso" and is "widely acknowledged as one of the best banjo players in America."[5] He was a founding member of the Austin trio the Bad Livers with whom he toured and recorded extensively from 1990 to 2000. Since then, he has performed and recorded as a solo artist, as well as collaborating with Dave Matthews, Bill Frisell, Jeff Austin and many others.
