Jack Dwyer & Nathan Royal blend bluegrass brother-duets with country, western swing, and gypsy jazz in their mandolin/guitar acoustic music duo. Based in Portland, OR and Salt Lake City, UT respectively, Jack and Nathan both have connections to Anchorage, AK, where they met as teachers at the Alaska City Folk Arts Camp back in 2011. Nathan is known around Salt Lake for his gypsy jazz leanings and his band the Hot Club of Zion. Jack has made a name for himself as a versatile multi-instrumentalist able to collaborate across genres and perform with some of the region's most highly-regarded musicians. Seattle music listeners may recognize him from his frequent work with Scott Law, or his regular teaching and performing appearances at the Wintergrass festival.
