45th Street Brass opens.

How Things Work is a rock band that uses horns rather than guitars. We play catchy post-punk art rock songs about happiness in foreign cities, birds that fly late at night, the color Red, and the very loud neighborhood that is Tom’s Head. Crow Nishimura gives magnificent voice to these ideas, Chris Martin is our funky drummer, and Rebecca Young’s bedrock precambrian Bass join with warm buzz Lauren Hepburn on Baritone Sax and Tom Yoder’s Trombone to give you something you can’t quite predict even if you heard us before.
