Igor Abuladze’s band “Road to Home”

Seattle based Road To Home is an instrumental quintet, playing original compositions. They find joy in taking a sad song and making it better. Igor Abuladze, guitarist and composer, is proud to surround himself with these master musicians in Road To Home. Jacob Evans' drumming is truly the highlight of band's 1st album, "Pilgrimage", released on Bandcamp in 2024. His Musicality and determination to serve the music are the key elements in the internal architecture of the group. After the departure of founding bassist, Shane Smith, they were fortunate to find Dean Schmidt. Dean's touch, melodicism, and rhythmic precision allowed the group to reach an unimaginable level of musical freedom. His sense of humor and positive attitude create a welcoming foundation for the new music to arrive. Guitarist Danny Godinez, whose very soul is a Magical Box of all music, ancient and present, is capable of creating the Sound, that Sound - the one that only Danny can create. Danny was instrumental in initiating the group's work on the material for the Second album. Road To Home's newest addition, keyboardist Jon Alberts, brings a whole new array of Sounds to the group, and also his deep knowledge of various musical forms. His approach to synthesizers makes the impossible possible.

Road To Home will play their new material in the first half of the show. Then, after a short break, they will perform the "Pilgrimage" album in its entirety.
