In Resonant Bodies trumpeter Stephanie Richards and percussionist Andrew Drury mine trumpets and drums at their aural and physical extremes, exploring how sounds interact with each other and with other resonant bodies. Focused listening, spontaneity, and a wealth of experience in a range of genres and media enable the duo to melt down the raw material of sound, infuse it with 21st century sensibilities, and recast it as a hyper-modern drum and bugle corps of two.

Taking its name from the Japanese word for "the space between two structural parts," Matrio is an improvising collective featuring Greg Campbell on percussion and horns, Ha-Yang Kim on cello, James Falzone on clarinet and piano, and Tom Baker on guitar, theremin, and electronics. With influences ranging from Olivier Messiaen to The Art Ensemble of Chicago, Matrio creates set-long experiences that explore the space between sound, noise, music, and silence.
