After the performance of Song Reader in January, The Royal Room is excited to do it all again!
Seattle based artists perform one song each from Beck's new sheet music only album “Song Reader”. Artists will be backed by an all-star Royal Room house band augmented by a variety of guest musicians.
Performers include: Robb Benson (Dept of Energy, The Glass Notes), Hann Benn (Pollens), David Russell, Carla Torgerson (The Walkabouts), Rachel DeShon, Robin Holcomb, Katie Jacobson (Honey Noble), Michael Stegner, Tekla Waterfield (Blvd Park), Nova Devonie, Jimmie Herrod, Jon Hyde, Vincent Martinez and Johnaye Kendrick.
House Band: Andy Coe (guitar), Steve Moore (trombone/ keyboards), Eric Eagle (drums), Beth Fleenor (clarinet, vocals), Alex Guy (viola/ violin, vocals), Keith Lowe (bass), and Wayne Horvitz (musical director, keyboards).
The Royal Room is All Ages until 10 pm.
Please note: tickets do not guarantee a seat to shows at the Royal Room. For sold out shows standing room may be the only available space. Please come early to ensure you get a table. Reservations can be made for those who are coming for dinner as well as the show.
