This event has passed.

Brought to you all the way from the wet jungles of the Amazon, to our equally wet streets of Seattle…

A house of positivity. A canopy of music. A jungle of beats. This is…

C A N O P Y H O U S E

For the very first time, THE MINGOS & Timbre Room are proud to present some of the slappiest DJs of the PNW, here to bring a bit of jungle boogie to our Emerald City. We believe in partying and having a good time, but also sharing the love. All proceeds will go towards Amazon Watch and Washington Trails Association (#gretathunberg #noplasticstraws).

Amazon Watch
https://amazonwatch.org/

Amazon Watch resists the destruction of the Amazon by challenging disastrous development projects and natural resource extraction and by promoting indigenous rights.

The Amazon is the world's largest terrestrial carbon sink and plays a critical role in regulating the global climate. Yet this global treasure is at great risk – already more than 20% has been deforested, and new fossil fuel extraction, mining, large-scale hydroelectric dams, and highways cause even greater deforestation and run roughshod over indigenous people's rights and territories. Amazon Watch protects millions of acres of rainforest every year by partnering with indigenous peoples – the best stewards of the forest – to directly challenge the corporate and government powers that threaten the Amazon and our climate.

Washington Trails Association
https://www.wta.org/

Washington Trails Association mobilizes hikers and everyone who loves the outdoors to explore, steward and champion trails and public lands.

WTA believes
That exploring nature is good for people’s hearts, minds and bodies, and that hiking is a powerful way for everyone to connect with Washington’s natural wonders.
That people will protect the places they love to hike, from local parks to remote wilderness.
It is vitally important for everyone to have the opportunity to access the outdoors, and we are committed to reducing barriers to hiking trails and lands.

ABOUT THE MINGOS

THE MINGOS encompasses the belief it does not take a big production, a big name, or anything more than a big idea to make a difference (&& to have a good time). It is a collective where everyone can bring their best selves and dance to the music they love with strangers and friends alike, to share in the common desire for good vibes. We are curating not just an experience, but an energy composed of everyone in the House.

Welcome to Canopy House, the jungle floor is yours.

ABOUT CANOPY HOUSE

Canopy House is about taking shelter from the rain. It is about dancing your faces off. It is about giving back and sharing the love, not just to our local community with good vibes and memories, but to the environment we so luckily call our home. The last few years have been rough on mother nature so let's come together on November 22nd to….
