Chop Suey & Debacle Records Present Motor IX Featuring Pete Swanson

MOTOR is excited for the return visit of Pete Swanson. The Portland-to-New York transplant brings with him the honed-in deformed and debauched techno sound he's crafted over the course of his last three releases, Man with Potential, Pro Style EP, and this past March's Punk Authority EP — a stark evolution from his former drone days as half of Yellow Swans. The latest offering displays Pete bringing an aggressively blown-out, on the edge yet still controlled deconstruction of the tenets of dance music which Pitchfork describes as, "Swanson finding a new type of delirium and wallowing in it, letting it expand and contract over four tracks that begin in unadulterated mania and never look back."
