Color Theory - History and Science behind primary colors

Instructor - Maxx Follis-Goodkind

What are primary colors? Are they real? Does the color wheel that we've been taught work? Why don't red and blue actually make purple?

We'll discuss the history of color theory and apply science to look at new methods of mixing colors, using a color wheel and more.

No tools are needed, but Maxx will be demonstrating color mixing and you can follow along with watercolor, acrylic or markers. Recommended colors are red green, yellow, blue, magenta and cyan.

This class will happen over Zoom. Students will be able to see the instructor and what the instructor is working on. Video and audio is optional for students, but encouraged. You will get a link to the class meeting and any handouts or prep by the day before. Start time is set, but end time is approximate.

Classes are limited to 15 students to provide each attendee with feedback and attention. You can contact info@pushpullseattle.com for questions about student discounts and private class bookings.
