Portrait Watercolor Painting Workshop
Instructor - Maxx Follis-Goodkind
Tools/Materials: paper (watercolor, mixed media or other paper that won't warp with water), variety of watercolor paints, round watercolor or mixed media brush, small liner brush, water cup, Optional - sponge or damp cloth in a dish
Steps before class - portrait drawn on paper (for help see Portrait Drawing Class on May 5th)
Our goal for the class will be to create a watercolor portrait that is colorful, has form and depth, and is expressive. The class will work one step at a time together and students will be able to ask questions as we go along. There will be time waiting for paint to dry and students are welcome to work on multiple pieces if they want to avoid "down" time.
This class will happen over Zoom. Students will be able to see the instructor and what the instructor is working on. Video and audio is optional for students, but encouraged. You will get a link to the class meeting and any handouts or prep by the day before. Start time is set, but end time is approximate.
Classes are limited to 15 students to provide each attendee with feedback and attention. You can contact info@pushpullseattle.com for questions about student discounts and private class bookings.
